CRONISTORIA DEGLI AVVENIMENTI
19 gennaio 2010,
I vigili urbani del COMUNE DI VIMODRONE si presentano accompagnati da un veterinario della ASL di Melzo dichiarando di dover fare un sopralluogo ed in seguito a tale sopralluogo, data la mancanza delle autorizzazioni all’inizio delle attività e della mancanza dell’esecuzione dei lavori richiesti, ritengono di spostare i gatti presenti presso il canile sanitario di PANTIGLIATE convenzionato.
Su 20 animali presenti 17 vengono portati via, tre ci vengono lasciati perché in precarie condizioni di salute inoltre ci viene portata via tutta la documentazione cartacea di proprietà dell’Associazione riguardante gli affidi fatti negli anni 2008, 2009 e 2010, gli animali vengono trasferiti presso il canile convenzionato con la ASL di PANTIGLIATE.

La Presidentessa ed alcuni nostri soci si sono recati presso il canile di PANTIGLIATE CONVENZIONATO con l'ASL Milano2 che ha competenze per il Comune di Vimodrone...), dove sono stati portati i nostri gatti, per chiederne l'affidamento personale...
Gli è stato risposto che gli animali sono gravemente malati, sotto terapia e pertanto non è possibile adottarli...
Il Comune pubblica sul proprio sito una dichiarazione del Sindaco in cui smentisce la responsabilità dello stesso nella vicenda e dichiara che la ASL ha agito come atto dovuto a seguito dell’esposto of some citizens.

La ASL di Melzo dirama una lettera a risposta delle dichiarazioni del Sindaco in cui si puntualizza che la stessa ASL ha agito solo ed esclusivamente perché sollecitata dal Comune e non, come dichiarato dal Comune, per atto dovuto o per proprio atto.

La Presidentessa si è recata in comune per mettere a punto una lettera indirizzata alla ASL in cui si dispone che gli animali sani possano essere dati in adozione alle persone selezionate dall’Associazione e gli animali malati accolti presso la Clinica Veterinaria Gran Sasso di Milano che collabora con l’Associazione ( a spese dell’Associazione itself).

Thanks to the efforts of the Mayor in conjunction with all municipal departments concerned at last we can give you a good news!
Today we were able to withdraw from the cats, kennel Pantigliate!
The animals will be visited by veterinarians who were following them on our behalf prior to their removal and, if deemed appropriate, will be in foster care to families who had already selected for them, if found unfit per l'affido saranno ricoverati in clinica per le cure che si renderanno necessarie.
Come all'inizio di questa spiacevole vicenda abbiamo pubblicamente espresso il nostro contrasto con il Comune per quanto abbiamo subito, dobbiamo ora altrettanto pubblicamente rendere atto che la decisione del Sindaco e l'impegno dei funzionari comunali sono stati determinanti al fine della restituzione dei micioni per una loro collocazione in ambienti più confortevoli e di questo ne siamo grati in quanto il nostro dire o fare ha avuto sempre e solo come unica motivazione la preoccupazione per il benessere degli animali.
Riguardo i nostri locali abbiamo espletato tutte le incombenze richieste ed attendiamo ora le autorizzazioni per procedere alla messa in opera degli adeguamenti infrastrutturali richiestici per l'avvio dell'attività.
Siamo fiduciosi che, dopo l'acquisto dei locali, quest'ulteriore ingente sforzo economico che dovremo sostenere (... non sappiamo ancora come...) sarà premiato da un futuro di stretta collaborazione e sinergia con gli organi istituzionali preposti, che ci permetterà di cogliere ulteriori traguardi, per ora ancora ambiziosi, per aiutare un numero sempre maggiore di amici a quattro zampe.
